Practical detailsThe DZ at Hovby airfield is located 3 kilometers south of the town Lidköping, which is situated at Lake Vänern, 120 kilometers northeast of Göteborg. There are several ferries to Göteborg from England, Germany and Denmark. Other common connections from the Continent are via Copenhagen-Malmö or Helsingör-Helsingborg. If you come by car, take the E20 from Göteborg towards Stockholm. About 100 kilometers from Göteborg, just as you passed Jung, turn left and follow the signs to Lidköping. As you advance, the dropzone can be seen on your right hand side. You can also reach Lidköping by train or by bus. All in all: it's not very complicated to get there.
