The Manifest
We will use the latest
technology for manifest services. Not only will that ensure us being able to provide you with a more efficient
way of manifest yourself and your groups, but as well being able to make the loading
faster (which in its turn will make us all able to do more jumps during the Hercules
Boogie!)
Due to
enhanced safety measures and military requests, there will be some news this
year regarding the manifest procedure. More information will be posted in
the boogie manual.
Loading
Welcome to loading! Here we will do everything in our power to guide you through the gates up to heaven. When you meet your group outside the loading area for dirtdiving we also want you to dirtdive the routine of entering the Herc. If its your first time or eleventh doesn't matter, the quicker we can load, the more jumps we can make.
Andreas and I will call for your teamleader in reverse exit order, please follow our instructions. You will be informed where to land (we have 2 different landing areas, approx. 1-km apart), to fly in a left turn pattern, how to land and so on. When entering the Herc, go to your seat and sit down: Right now! Due to military regulations you must use belts and fraphat/helmet (except video) during take-off.
At the end of the 6 min flight to 4000m you will get a 2 min warning and a red light. Stand up, extend the seat-belts and let them hang down for the convenience of the skydivers in the next load. Perform your pin-check! 1 min warning means go back and get ready, 15 seconds means line up. A jumpmaster will stand on the ramp to stop you; don't push him please. Maximum 25 jumpers on the ramp. Green light, wait for the jumpmaster to step aside and give you the hand-signal. GO GO GO! Next group leave as fast as possible. The Hercules is traveling at 60-70m/s so 10s is about 600-700m. Red-light again means don't jump; there is a very big lake in the area...
Under canopy; please fly in a big left turn spiral. No hook-turns allowed on landing! If you can't land your canopy without hooking; leave it at home!!
Last boogie we made over 11300 jumps. We had one dislocated shoulder in exit, one sprained ankle when landing and - one sprained ankle running from the manifest! Not so bad, I think. Lets make this boogie even better!
