Safety 2002

Emanuel -
Responsible
for the Safety

My life takes a new way since I made a tandem in New Zeeland 1997. As soon as I was home I signed up for a static line course at GFK.

As a formation skydiver I like the challenge to make a big way formation but most of the time I spend with our 4-way team trying to improve our selves. This year I finished my AFF-exam and I really enjoy educating students in free fall.

As the Hercules has continued it has always been a goal to improve and make it a safer boogie.

The big news this year is the one pass that will make it possible to increase the number of loads. This will of course have an impact on the number of canopies in the air.

By having a bigger landing area that is divided in two separate landing zones we feel confident that there will be plenty of space. But as always it is the individual skydivers good judgement that is the key to a safe boogie.

Another news is that the lowest pull altitude is now 700 m (2300 feet).

The smallest jumpformation during the boogie is 8 way.

See you at Hercules 2002!
